Professorship vacancies at the Australian Maritime College

Applications are invited for appointment to the following full-time continuing positions at the Australian Maritime College, University of Tasmania:

 

1.      PROFESSOR/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF MARITIME BUSINESS

2.      SENIOR LECTURER/LECTURER OF MARITIME TRANSPORT, LOGISTICS AND/OR SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

The Australian Maritime College (AMC) is a specialist institute of the University of Tasmania. The Maritime and Logistics Management (MLM) Department is part of the National Centre for Ports and Shipping, which is one of AMC’s two National Centres. The Department offers programs in maritime business and international logistics at the undergraduate, postgraduate and higher degree by research levels. The Department’s students come from 26 countries around the world.

The PROFESSOR appointment will have a total remuneration package of up to AUD$184,458 per annum (with base salary of AUD$157,656 plus 17% superannuation, with the option of an additional 3% salary loading in exchange for 14%  instead of 17% superannuation).

The ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR appointment will have a total remuneration package of up to AUD$158,582 per annum (comprising salary within the range AUD$123,483 - AUD$135,540 plus 17% superannuation, with the option of an additional 3% salary loading in exchange for 14% instead of 17% superannuation).

The SENIOR LECTURER appointment will have a total remuneration package of up to AUD$138,596 per annum (comprising salary within the range AUD$103,379 - AUD$118,458 plus 17% superannuation, with the option of an additional 3% salary loading in exchange for 14% instead of 17% superannuation).

The LECTURER appointment will have a total remuneration package of up to AUD$117,371 per annum (comprising salary within the range AUD$85,080 - AUD$100,317 plus 17% superannuation, with the option of an additional 3% salary loading in exchange for 14% instead of 17% superannuation).
