The Department of Maritime and Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Liverpool John Moores University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer with a PhD degree to undertake teaching in the area of maritime economics and management.
You will contribute to teaching on courses in shipping, port and logistics, and to the research work of the Logistic Offshore and Marine Research Institute where you will support growing research activity in the area of green shipping and the blue economy.
You will also undertake research as part of the Liverpool Logistics, Offshore and Marine Research Institute which has an international reputation and strong industry partnerships. You should have at least two excellent academic research publications and ideally more than one year postdoctoral research experience in a relevant area.
